There is not a whole lot happening for the next few weeks.  It's kind of strange though...just over five weeks from now school starts.  I hadn't realized how soon that was going to be.  Time is flying.

I'm looking at cars...pray that I'd find a decent one.

I had a meeting with my mentor this morning.  We've been reading through a book on apologetics.  The book begins with a general outline of what the christian worldview is and then proceeds to show how a christian can approach people with various other worldviews and begin to help those people think about their worldview and whether or not it's really true.  He presents in the book a series of confrontations/dialogues between a christian and a non-christian.  The one we looked at today was the evolutionist.  It was interesting to see that science has a foundation: philosophy.  I think the big reason that this stuck out to me is that a person's philosophy of life (worldview) is going to affect how he/she interprets everything in life (including science)...

Guess that's all for now...back to work...later...

I'm...at work.  Four days until we head down to Kansas for a week.  Six and a half weeks until August 12th...it seems so far away...

A lot on my mind lately.  Sometimes I wonder if and how I'll ever become the man God wants me to be...is it possible?  I'm taking it a step at a time.  But it seems like every step forward is two steps back...I know it's a cliche statement...but it's what it seems like.

In a letter I wrote the other day...I referred to how something becomes or begins to contain meaning that is "something more" than what it would normally contain...I'm being vague now, I know.  More on that subject another day I suppose.

back in Ohio...not much else is happening.  the Michigan trip was a blast!

not really sure what's going on other than work...I wouldn't mind hanging out with anyone who's around...

later...
